Aquaform on Light Fair Participation in trade fairs is a chance for mutual communication between exhibitors and visitors. The international trade exhibition organised in Warsaw is dedicated to the lighting industry, so it is of particular importance to us. Taking part in the International Trade Fair for Lighting Equipment "Światło 2016" will be a good start into the new year, and there is more to this than just exhibiting... just look what's in there for you!

International Trade Fair for Lighting Equipment LIGHT 2016

At the end of January, i.e. 27-29.01 in Warszawskie Centrum Wystawiennicze EXPO XXI, the 24th edition of the International Trade Fair for Lighting Equipment "Światło 2016" will be held. The trade fair is an excellent opportunity, for both exhibitors and visitors, to see what is new in this business. For a manufacturer of lighting equipment, it is a chance to present the latest design and technical solutions, and for a visitor – an opportunity to explore the growing offer of modern lighting equipment on the Polish market. This trade exhibition is a unique event in Poland, therefore it is addressed to anybody interested in lighting, lighting design and lighting technology in its broad sense. What is more, this trade exhibition also includes workshops, lectures and trainings focused on major issues and problems inherent in the lighting design process. During those meetings, representatives of Aquaform and Lumino Galeria Światła will be talking about the two issues: „OLED – challenges in the approach to lighting design. OLED distribution in Poland” and „How to light a hotel and its surroundings”. Naturally, Aquaform will have its stand at the trade fair (D24, hall 1), because as a lamp manufacturer we take the unique opportunity to exchange views with our Customers who have been using our products. During this year's trade fair edition, we will be presenting our light fixtures in product lines such as e.g. equilibra, THIN TUBE, OLED, LUNAR, GLOB and 2000 P series.

Training: OLED technology and its applications

On 28 January, during trainings and workshops organised on the occasion of the International Trade Fair for Lighting Equipment "Światło 2016", Aquaform and Lumino Galeria Światła would like to invite you to a panel discussion entitled „OLED - challenges in the approach to lighting design. OLED distribution in Poland” (room C2, 1st floor, 13.15 – 14.00). OLED technology, about which more can be found in our article on Aquaform OLED lamps, is a state-of-the-art solution in the lighting industry. OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) panels, supplied by LG Display, produce light characterised by ideal dispersion and very high colour rendering index (CRI>90), do not heat up, do not cause a glare effect or produce UV radiation. Their light qualities are similar to those of natural sunlight, therefore they are human eye friendly. Besides, their cross-section is unusually thin, and some of them are even flexible! They may be sealed in glass, fixed into pendant lamps, wall lamps, flush-mounted or standing fixtures. As this is a new technology, it opens up totally new possibilities for light fixtures producers and designers, at the same time making us face new challenges. This is one of the issues to be discussed during the trade exhibition. Modern lighting in the 21st century.

Challenges in hotel lighting – a lecture

How to get 500 lux in conference halls? Why is the minimum light intensity in corridors 100 lux and when should evenness above 0.4 be applied? What is UGR and how to use this rating? How to apply solutions that are visually attractive, ecological and cost-efficient? These are only some of the questions that will be addressed during the second of our panel discussions to be held on 29 January in room C1a, 1st floor, at 11:30-12:00 a.m. During the conference entitled "HOTEL RESTAURACJA SPA – new challenges for architects and investors" we will be discussing the issue: "How to light a hotel and its surroundings". The problem is more complex than it might seem: in the case of designing lighting systems for hotels, apart from the aesthetic and functional aspects it is also necessary to take into account the legal and normative guidelines. Designers and investors must find a compromise between all those aspects, whereas it is our task, i.e. the manufacturer's, to produce light fixtures that exactly fit their purposes. It is becoming easier and easier thanks to the lamps with LED integrated source of light, where the customer can choose e.g. the power output, luminous flux, dimming function or beam angle, as in the case of P series spotlights. Another light fixture that is perfectly suitable for customised configuration is one of our latest product lines – THIN TUBE.

Aquaform light fixtures at Targi Światło

At our stand at the International Trade Fair for Lighting Equipment "Światło 2016" (booth D24, hall 1) it will be possible to experience both of the above mentioned fixtures, e.g. 2000 P20 LED track spotlight and THIN TUBE wall lamp. Apart from those, we will also present equilibra line luminaires including the winner of many competitions (e.g.Red Dot Design Award 2015, Dobry Wzór 2014), the pendant lamp equilibra BALANS. It will also be possible to physically see the advantages of the OLED technology, by looking at the wall-mounted PURE square OLED or OLEDRIAN fixtures. You may also find it interesting to see our new AQLED SPIDER surface G/K system. This light fixture, apart from its unique design, offers a number of benefits of the LED technology. Our stand will be manned with experienced employees of Aquaform, who will be happy to tell you more about any light fixtures, to show their operation and to answer any questions you might have. It will also be possible to view our catalogue with the full assortment offered by Aquaform. We look forward to seeing you there!
