Step into the colourful world of a patisserie in Gdańsk
In the culinary world, success depends not only on the flavour of the dishes served but also on the atmosphere that makes guests feel at ease—and eager to return. Doble patisserie, a new spot on the Gdańsk map, proves this perfectly by combining bold interior design with delicious sweet treats. The result? A double delight: one for the eyes and one for the palate. So, which luminaires did architect Jan Sikora select to bring this vibrant concept to life through carefully considered lighting?
Colours that whet the appetite
Bathed in yellow tones, the interior is a lively space where nothing is left to chance. Geometric ceiling forms—cones, hemispheres and arches—come together in an exceptionally dynamic composition. The luminaires were therefore selected with great care to provide not only top-quality lighting, but also visual harmony with the rest of the space. Above the counter, the decorative FLYING BALL arc offers softly diffused, ambient light. Its striking form draws the eye, while the semi-circular arcs echo the surrounding shapes, bringing visual lightness to the arrangement.
Flexible lighting for expressive spaces
The design also includes a flexible lighting solution in the form of functional track systems. These allow the light beam to be directed wherever it’s needed—perfect for highlighting the sweet creations on display. To further reinforce the cohesive look, PET spotlights were painted yellow, blending seamlessly with the rest of the design and strengthening the space’s distinctive identity.
