Nestled in the Western Tatras at 1333 m above sea level, PTTK Hala Kondratowa mountain lodge charms visitors with its intimate character. Although one of the smallest shelters in Poland, it stands out through its breathtaking location and unique atmosphere. Here, lighting plays a key role — shaping the mood and turning every stay into a memorable experience. Which luminaires were chosen to achieve this effect?
Lighting that defines the space
Guests can relax in cosy rooms designed in a classic mountain style. Natural materials — wood, stone and soft, diffused light — give the interiors a warm and calming feel. Slim PET micro luminaires were installed by the beds, offering comfortable reading light and blending seamlessly with the alpine aesthetic. The simple and functional arrangement encourages relaxation, creating a space where one can slow down and truly absorb the mountain surroundings.
Flexible lighting for everyday use
In the restaurant area, PET luminaires were mounted on track systems. This solution allows the light to be directed where it is needed — accentuating the bar, artwork and decorative elements. It also makes rearranging tables and redefining zones effortless, without compromising lighting quality.
