The Dębowa Clinic dental practice in Kwidzyn offers a completely new take on medical space design. The architects from Maka Studio moved away from the usual sterile aesthetic, creating a warm and harmonious environment instead. Carefully selected materials, forms and colours — enhanced by modern lighting — play a central role. Oak wood combined with calming greys and greens results in an exceptionally cohesive whole that engages the senses.
MIXLINE: timeless design with versatile performance
For this project, the architects selected luminaires from the MIXLINE collection — a solution that perfectly balances form and function. Diffuser modules provide ample general lighting, while integrated “points” act as task lighting to brighten corridors and improve navigation. Together, they create an ideal combination for reception areas, lobbies and circulation zones.
Lighting tailored to the palette of the space
Alongside the technical precision, great care was given to colour. Burgundy and pink finishes were chosen to echo the tones of graphics and furniture, resulting in a refined, visually consistent composition. Dębowa Clinic is a great example of how lighting can be customised to fit the unique needs of a project.
