Materials and the techniques used to shape them play an increasingly important role in contemporary lighting. They influence not only the appearance of a luminaire, but also how it interacts with the surrounding space — whether it becomes a strong visual accent or blends subtly with the architecture.
In several of our collections, the material is no longer just a carrier of form; it becomes the main protagonist, defining both the look and the character of the illumination.
Raw aluminium in its purest form
The BRUTAL collection was created to capture the honesty and materiality of aluminium. Instead of concealing it beneath layers of paint, we preserved its natural appearance: the surface is lightly finished and protected with a transparent coating. This leaves the raw structure of the metal visible — including subtle traces of the forming process usually only seen by the machine operator.
The collection includes only those forms that best complement this uncompromising finish. Among them you’ll find TRIBA, CONA, OPTIMA and KLIVA. This allows different lighting functions to be combined within one project while maintaining a consistent design language. BRUTAL works particularly well wherever lighting is expected not only to illuminate, but also to act as a clear architectural statement.

Craftsmanship that defines the form
SNOP is a luminaire in which craftsmanship becomes the essence of the design. Its shade is created from hand-woven cord — without adhesives or additional joints. Using carefully tied sailor’s knots, each piece becomes a unique decorative element with a striking structure and an unexpected material expression.
SNOP is available as both a pendant and a wall-mounted version, in LED or E27 variants depending on the project requirements. It can create anything from soft decorative accents to more functional light scenes. Here, the material does not conceal the light — it guides it, becoming a central part of the composition.

An innovative interplay of light and material
FLARED cast and BLOS cast demonstrate how the combination of material, form and light can shape a space with distinctive character. The luminaires are made from a synthetic gypsum also used in dentistry, giving each piece its characteristic porous texture. No two surfaces are identical, which brings a refined intensity to interior compositions.
FLARED cast, as a suspended luminaire, introduces a strong visual statement, while BLOS cast, in its surface-mounted version, enables expressive lighting compositions on walls and ceilings.

Materials that open new directions in design
Raw aluminium, hand-woven cord and synthetic gypsum represent three completely different approaches to form. What unites them is the freedom they offer: each material allows designers to shape a space not only with illumination, but also through finish, texture and detail.
This gives architects and designers a broader creative palette, where luminaires not only provide light but also define atmosphere, introduce stylistic direction and bring a unique identity to the interior.
