RIBBY family has been awarded in two international design competitions: Red Dot Design Award 2025 and iF Design Award 2025. The juries recognised its consistent, organic design language and the way light genuinely enhances user comfort in everyday scenarios. RIBBY combines a distinctive aesthetic with a clear functional role in space.
RIBBY circle
The suspended version with its soft, round line – winner of both Red Dot Design Award 2025 and iF Design Award 2025 – combines upward emission (comfortable ambient light) with downward emission (clear illumination of tables and meeting zones). Several diameters make it possible to create compositions tailored to apartments, offices and hospitality interiors, while maintaining the same recognisable character.
RIBBY line
The slim, linear version has also received both distinctions: Red Dot Design Award 2025 and iF Design Award 2025. These luminaires effectively support spatial zoning. Upward emission provides eye-friendly ambient light, while downward emission evenly illuminates extended surfaces such as reception counters, conference tables or kitchen islands. The availability of several lengths allows for the creation of repetitive, elegant sequences that retain consistent detailing.
RIBBY wall up&down
The wall-mounted version, honoured with the iF Design Award 2025, combines comfortable, glare-free lighting of circulation zones with a decorative wall presence. The up-and-down emission organises the rhythm of corridors and staircases, while finishes consistent with the suspended versions allow for a coherent design language throughout the entire project.
